Ryan Keeler

The Performer

The Performer is a short film dedicated to my passion for conservation and the creative process. What started as a piece focused purely on environmentalism grew to incorporate aspects of the creative process and why I love the arts. This film has an end goal: a call for us to be better and care for the planet we share, but it also taught me much about my own practices throughout production and how I hope to inspire the generations of artists who come after me. It’s a film about change, both the good and the bad. It is something to prompt the viewer to make changes for the better, either in their own life or in the lives of others.
