Rosalyn Trowbridge

Hitched

Hitched started as an assignment in my junior year in the form of a storyboard. I wanted it to be a fun nod to classic spaghetti westerns, paired with a classic but advancing art form like 2D animation. However, it grew to be much more than that. It became a project I’d look forward to working on every day, and one that my peers would ask about frequently. I wanted this film to be something fun and exciting for viewers to stop and have a good laugh at, while still feeling the suspense. With a world that is full of so much negativity and fear, I wanted there to be something fun. Art has been and will continue to be my favorite way of expressing myself, whether it’s my love for film, the classics, or being part of the LGBTQ community.
