With Love,
My practice is driven by observation. The camera as a tool relies heavily on observation as well, taking in the world through a lens. Using photography as my medium helps me understand the world around me and my place in it by giving my observations a place to focus. Most recently, this focus has led me to photograph my mother. My mother and I are changing in parallel to each other. As we grow as people, our relationship is also shifting. I turn my camera to this shift to help me understand it.
