Killer Work! House Party

Imagine yourself at a small party in a nice apartment. You and your friends exchange your latest achievements, catch up, and have a good drink together. Folks are enjoying hearing about your current project or latest hobby, and you’re feeling the same way about getting to know them. People come and go, but at the end of the day, you know you’re a great host.
Too bad that’s not the case.

Killer Work! House Party is a peek into a world weighed down with imposter syndrome. You play not as the host, just as a friend with an invite. The experience is very familiar to me: say the right things, keep yourself from spiraling, and get the hell out. As my first 3D puzzle game and first time coding a game, there is a sense of accomplishment that comes with having completed a demo. There is pride that comes with allowing myself to be alongside great people who produce great art. At parties (and gallery exhibitions) like these, tensions between folks tend to rise and fall, especially when trying to “catch up” to the crowd. So sit back, have a snack, and look forward to seeing some more Killer Work!
